Wood Fire
This porcelain teapot was fired in the firebox of an Anagama kiln, with a Shino glaze on the interior and no glaze on the exterior, all color and crustiness is from the ash and flame of the firing.
This piece was shown and sold at a 2008 juried teapot show, "Teapots IV" held at Baltimore Clayworks in Baltimore, MD.
